Services

From the experience of 30 cultures, a unique therapy is born

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and specialise in supporting bicultural couples. Sessions are available both online and in person in Berlin. Online sessions ensure accessibility and safety for everyone, regardless of location or circumstances.

It doesn't matter where you come from, what matters is where you want to go — and I can help you on this journey.

Method and common themes

I offer individual and couples’ psychotherapy for those who feel overwhelmed or unable to manage life’s challenges alone. My services are equally suitable for anyone experiencing difficult or complex situations, whether these arise at home, at work, in social settings, or at school.

The difficulties that cause psychological distress can originate from or manifest in family, professional, social, or academic life. Impasse when facing important decisions, anxiety due to changes, and difficulties managing priorities and time are also common themes in therapeutic work.

Two forms of support

My work as a therapist takes two forms: psychological counselling, which is short and extremely focused on the problem at hand, and therapy itself, which takes more time. The client chooses, under my guidance, the form that best suits their current situation.

The psychotherapy I offer is tailor-made, depending on the preferences and abilities of each client, and is based on my different professional training (psychoanalysis, behavioural therapy, neuroscience, etc.).

Psychological challenges in the intercultural context

Below are examples of psychological issues that frequently appear in my clinical work. If you identify with any of these, know that they are common challenges in life between cultures.

Anxiety and depression

When the weight of living between two cultures becomes heavier than the joy of living in any one of them.

Family and relationship difficulties

When cultural differences cease to be curiosities and become barriers in the relationship.

Conflicts from intercultural experiences

The 'culture shock' that never fades, the constant feeling of not fully belonging anywhere.

Feelings of loneliness / social struggles

Being surrounded by people, but feeling that no one truly understands your journey between cultures.

Stress, time management, lifestyle

Trying to reconcile expectations from different cultures while managing your own well-being.

Work–life balance and burnout

When the effort to adapt professionally in another country consumes all your vital energy.

Existential questions

"Who am I now, between two cultures? What remains of my original 'self' and what has transformed?"

Panic attacks, sleep or appetite disturbances, psychosomatic symptoms

When the body begins to express, through physical symptoms, what the mind can no longer process alone.

Academic or professional performance issues

The invisible pressure of performing in a second language or within unfamiliar cultural expectations.

Ethics and confidentiality

🤝 It is not the therapist’s job to judge the person in therapy or their attitude, nor to find solutions to their problems. The therapist’s role is to help the client, using their knowledge of mental and physical disorders and their professional experience, to find the solutions that best suit their life.

🔒 I strictly follow the rule of professional confidentiality. Nothing said or done in the therapy setting can be disclosed.
